Director Sanderson is hosting a virtual meeting on September 16 for members, YP, WIE, and students as a strategy to kick off the tour and learn more about the three CO sections from members. The Grand Tour of IEEE CO sections begins on October 7 in Denver with IEEE GHTC, October 8 in High Plains/Ft. Collins, and October 9 in Pikes Peak/Colorado Springs, and culminates with an R5 General Meeting and STEM events on October 10 in Denver. The virtual meeting is Wednesday, September 16 at 7 pm MT/8pm CT using vTools for members to register. Topics include 'Ask the R5 Director?' with potential questions from members about resources, YP, WIE, chapters, and student members/branches. Comments may include students discussions on speakers, professional networking, and the difference between IEEE student branches and university-sponsored student clubs.
