The Denver chapter of the IEEE PES/IAS is the region’s foremost organization representing electrical and power engineers. Our mission is to further education and professional development; provide professional and social networking opportunities; and encourage student involvement in the industry through project funding, scholarships, and event subsidies. The annual PES/IAS golf tournament has become a fun-filled tradition that helps raise funds for activities that support the chapter’s mission. Examples include: - Maintaining the $0 meeting and dinner fee for students - Providing funding to support organizations focused on promoting engineering to students - Maintaining low meeting and dinner fees for professionals - Hosting special events such as facility tours and networking happy hours REGISTRATION PACKAGES The registration packages available are: Package Early Bird Pricing (Through June 30 ) Final Pricing (Though July 31) Single Student Registration $100 $125 Single Registration $175 $200 Bronze Package (Foursome registration) $600 $650 Silver Package (Foursome w/ strings & mulligans) $650 $700 Gold Package (Foursome w/ hole sponsorship, strings & mulligans) $750 $800 SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES IEEE PES/IAS is a non-profit organization and we depend upon the generosity of our corporate sponsors to help fund scholarships, educational dinners, and other community outreach programs. Sponsorship opportunities are available for companies interested in having their name and logo in front of local Colorado engineers. Our sponsors are the lifeblood for the chapter and for IEEE, and allow us to continue providing education and networking opportunities for power engineers in the Denver area. This year we are offering more sponsorship opportunities to increase exposure of the organizations to the attendees. Below are the available sponsorships. Join us for a IEEE Denver networking happy hour at Pindustry. The happy hour will run approximately from 5:30pm - 7:00pm, so come for all or part of the afternoon to spend some time getting to know others within the Denver community as a whole. All are welcome to join for this event, whether you have heard of IEEE, have been active in the past or present, or want to meet some other professionals. We look forward to a relaxed environment with no set agenda, where everyone can learn more about IEEE Denver and what we offer, how you can get involved, ask any informal questions, or just to spend time with one another. Each attendee will receive two drink tickets, and there will also be a range of appetizers. We will also reserve a few bowling lanes. Pindustry is a massive 54,000-square-foot entertainment venue located in the Denver Tech Center in Greenwood Village, Colorado.
