Microgrid Tour and Social Hour Tour Details: Join Nathan Kassees (Xcel Energy) for an on-site tour of the Xcel microgrid at the Arvada Arts and Humanities Center. The microgrid contains a 750 kW/ 3300 kWh battery that provides key grid services while maintaining a reserve battery capacity to support the center during outages. Note that PPE (hard hat and safety glasses) is required to enter the site. The Chapter will have limited spares, so please bring it if you have it. Location: Arvada Arts and Humanities Center (6961 Wadsworth Blvd, Arvada, CO) Date: Friday, September 27th, 2024 Time: 4:00pm - 5:00pm Social Hour Details: Post-tour happy hour at Olde Town Tavern. Anyone is welcome, so feel free to join us if you can't make the tour. However, registered tour attendees will get their first drink covered by the Chapter!
