"Nuclear energy is often in the news, but it can be difficult to determine fact from fiction and import from superfluity. This presentation will provide a brief overview of the fission process and various types of nuclear reactors. In keeping with the zeitgeist, we will discuss the various benefits and drawbacks of small modular reactors."
