Hello IEEE Members and Friends,

BUILD SOMETHING COOL returns on Saturday April 13, 2024!!

Volunteers and Kids 6th – 12th Grade Wanted

The Denver IEEE and the Metropolitan State University of Denver are again hosting the annual “Build Something Cool” Event, free for 6-12th graders.

Over the course of the day, Denver area students build and keep electronic projects, talk to real engineers and scientists, and have fun. The students can select project kits like Badges, Simon Says Games, Portable USB Chargers, a solar car, and LED Blinky Projects. We also have a cool programmable project that introduces the world of microprocessors.

We Need Volunteers!

  • Where:  MSU Denver Auraria Campus, Science Building (free parking)
  • When: Saturday, April 13, 2024. 8:30am – 4:00pm (Half day or full day)

Let me know if you can volunteer for half a day or a full day. Volunteers do a variety of tasks from publicity to helping students use tools and build kits. Email me to RSVP, so we can send you updates:
